Gen Schaack- Secretary
Gen Schaack is a rabble-rouser turned bureaucrat working in the nonprofit sector. Despite technically living one block outside of the neighborhood boundary, she has considered the Whiteaker her home since 2009 and has helped manage the Whiteaker Community Market since 2023. She is very excited about the WCCs programming that supports healthy homes and disaster resiliency for neighborhood residents.
Gen volunteers with several organizations and local government, working in the areas of environmental sustainability, anti-poverty action, and equitable health outcomes. When not attending meetings (and sometimes during, if they’re on Zoom), Gen enjoys crafting and being a mediocre gardener.
